Job summary

Chicken Ranch Casino is seeking a Barback to join the Food & Beverage team in Jamestown, CA. The role supports bartenders, maintains bar cleanliness, restocks supplies, and ensures responsible alcohol service with proper ID checks.

Responsibilities include guest interaction, processing orders, assisting with POS transactions, and upholding health and safety standards. Prior bar knowledge and certifications are preferred, with a team-focused, guest-first mindset expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• RBS training and certification for alcohol service required.
• ServSafe/Food Handler’s training and certification required.
• Understanding of bar terminology and various types of alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of inventory management and restocking procedures.
• Proficient in mixology basics to assist bartenders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional Guest service and teamwork.
• Keep bar area clean; stock is properly stored, rotated, and unexpired.
• Check identification of Guests under 30 to prevent underage service.
• Keep glassware, condiments, and fresh garnishes stocked and replenished.
• Monitor and rotate stock/orders.
• Carry out duties as needed per Bartenders and management.
• Complete side work and communicate professionally with management.
• Engage with Guests, offering recommendations and enhancing their experience.
