Taylorton Station Bar in Frankfort, KY is seeking a Bar/Hospitality Specialist (Part Time). The role focuses on developing bartending and customer service skills in a mentorship-driven environment, with opportunities to participate in events and hands-on bar operations.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, learning cocktails, setting up and breaking down the bar, handling the POS system, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. 18+ and a quick learner are required.

Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn bartending and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of cocktail ingredients or willingness to learn.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsabilités

• Customer Service Excellence: Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service at all times, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with Taylorton’s guest experience standards.
• Learning the Craft: Master basic cocktail ingredients and mixers, including house-made syrups, while assisting in the preparation of cocktails and beverages.
• Bar Operations Support: Assist in setting up the bar, maintaining an organized and clean workspace, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth operations during service.
• POS System Familiarization: Learn the ins and outs of our POS system, accurately processing orders and handling transactions.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Support with inventory management, including helping with restocking bar supplies and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, including the preparation and organization of the bar area and supporting the team with keg building and ‘Neil’ setup.
• Facility Knowledge: Learn and deliver a 30-minute tour of the facility to guests, providing insights into Taylorton’s history, ambiance, and offerings.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular feedback sessions and on-the-job training to improve your skills and understanding of bar operations and guest service.
