Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 3 years of bar or restaurant experience, including at least 2 years of bartending.
• Strong knowledge of craft beer, spirits, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Current Alcohol Serving Certification and Food Handler Certification.
• Experience using POS systems.
• Able to lift 5–75 pounds and stand/walk for shifts.

As our new Bar Associate (Bartender/Server), you will play an important role in delivering outstanding guest experiences while supporting the daily operations of our bar and retail environment. You will work closely with team members and guests to provide exceptional service, ensure responsible alcohol service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to develop your hospitality, sales, merchandising, and event support skills in a unique setting.

What your day will look like

• Warmly greet guests and take beverage orders.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all alcohol service complies with applicable state laws and company policies.
• Engage with guests, build rapport, and anticipate customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently.
• Assist team members as needed to support smooth daily operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every shift.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Support additional business activities including merchandising, sales initiatives, and special events when required.

What you'll bring

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 3 years of bar or restaurant experience, including at least 2 years of bartending experience.
• Strong knowledge of craft beer, spirits, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Current Alcohol Serving Certification.
• Current Food Handler Certification.
• Experience using POS systems.
• Ability to frequently lift between 5 and 75 pounds and remain standing or walking throughout shifts.
• Ability to work in an environment with cigar smoke and occasional loud music.
• Professional demeanor with a strong team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Flair bartending experience.
