Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to provide prompt, courteous service in our banquet rooms and outdoor events. The role reports to the Banquet Captain and requires knowledge of the venue, menu items, and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff. Candidates should have 1–3 months of server experience and hold a Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months of server experience preferred.
• Must hold Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room for events as requested.
• Greet and serve guests in an energetic, friendly fashion.
• Know the menu items and answer guest questions.
• Take orders and relay to kitchen/bar staff.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation; report issues.
• Work as a team under the Banquet Captain.
• Provide hospitality and excellent guest service throughout dining.
