Job Summary

Responsible for assisting with the set up and breakdown of the event space and serving food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to the hotel’s high standards of quality.

Essential Job Functions

  • Gather supplies and set up banquet room as instructed.
  • Attend pre-event meetings to learn function details.
  • Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
  • Serve food and beverages according to standards.
  • Bus dishes promptly and replenish beverages.
  • Clear and reset banquet rooms after events.
  • Perform side work and general cleaning as assigned.
  • Adhere to all policies, safety procedures, and report issues.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and perform related duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of liquor regulations and holding a Food Handler Card.
  • Basic knowledge of food/beverage service and guest etiquette.
  • Understanding of table settings and service ware.
  • Basic English proficiency for communication.
  • Ability to operate beverage equipment.
Physical Demands
  • Transport up to 30 lbs. frequently.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs., push up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequent movement including twisting, bending, standing, and walking.
