Job summary

MGM Resorts International in National Harbor, MD, seeks a Banquet Supervisor to lead events with precision and hospitality. You will review BEOs, coordinate staff, and ensure flawless execution of signature SHOW experiences for guests. This is a part-time role with varying hours across events and shifts.

You will manage materials, inventory, and costs while maintaining high service standards and addressing guest concerns swiftly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of Banquet supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret BEOs to plan for events and allocate team workloads.
• Meet with group leaders/clients to confirm details and set expectations.
• Lead the team to deliver signature SHOW hospitality at every touchpoint.
• Coordinate ordering and inventory of materials and equipment for each event.
• Oversee food, beverage, labor, and resources with cost control in mind.
• Maintain event records and reports for operational excellence.
• Address guest or team concerns promptly to ensure positive outcomes.
• Communicate policies clearly and ensure staff compliance with standards.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of spaces to verify setups and readiness.
