Job summary

Holiday Inn Midland is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to join a fast-paced, guest-focused team. This role offers wage of $13.73/hour plus earned commission and access to a range of benefits.

Responsibilities include setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring guests are 100% satisfied while observing health and safety standards. Minimum knowledge includes arithmetic, basic records processing, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret / extract information and perform arithmetic functions.
• Proficient in basic record keeping and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events.
• Provide friendly, high-level guest interaction and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, service ware, and plating methods.
• Communicate guest needs (allergies, special meals) to supervisor.
• Ensure proper delivery and timing of meals during events.
• Adhere to local health/sanitation rules and safety standards.
• Manage responsibilities during various banquet service types (buffet, plated, etc.).
• Report any equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
