Job summary

Cote Family Companies is seeking a Banquet Bartender to provide professional beverage service at weddings, conferences, banquets and resort events. You will set up and stock banquet bars, prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, and ensure guests receive prompt, welcoming service.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in guest service or hospitality, familiarity with standard cocktails, and a strong sense of teamwork to support banquet servers and chefs at high-volume events.

Qualifications

• Six months guest service or hospitality experience.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to follow safety and alcohol service policies.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, maintains, and breaks down banquet bars for events.
• Prepares and serves cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes.
• Provides friendly, professional service creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Greets guests and responds to beverage requests with a positive demeanor.
• Verifies guest IDs and follows liquor laws and resort policies.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area during events.
• Reviews event orders to understand bar setup and guest counts.
• Processes beverage transactions and tracks beverage usage and inventory.
• Collaborates with servers, culinary, and other departments for seamless events.
• Works varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
