Job summary

The Upstate National Bank is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative in Rochester, NY to cover 10am–2pm, Monday through Friday. You will handle basic banking transactions, respond to customer inquiries, and support branch operations with accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3 years banking experience in teller/CSR roles, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with core banking systems (Jack Henry preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in banking in a Teller, CSR or similar role.
• Familiarity with core banking systems; Jack Henry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of data analysis and financial reporting.
• Excellent organization and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of transactions including cashing checks, deposits, loan payments and withdrawals.
• Process commercial deposits and coin orders.
• Balance cash drawer daily.
• Handle cash services like shipments and ordering cash for branches as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service; answer calls and respond to inquiries.
• Manage mail flow and online banking troubleshooting.
• Order office supplies and assist branches as needed, including document scanning.
• Support other branches as required; perform other duties as assigned.
