Kendall Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Client Service Specialist to support branch operations and deliver exceptional service to clients in Overland Park, KS. You will become an expert in deposit account operations, business account opening, documentation management, and wire processing while serving as a trusted resource for clients and teammates.

The role emphasizes client service, accuracy in documentation, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Experience opening deposit accounts strongly preferred.
• Experience with business account opening and documentation preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Wire transfer experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to learn new systems, regulations, and procedures quickly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to clients in person and over the phone.
• Open and maintain personal and business deposit accounts.
• Become a subject matter expert in business account opening requirements and documentation.
• Review, organize, and maintain account-opening files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate follow-up for missing documentation and account exceptions.
• Perform account maintenance and servicing activities.
• Prepare and process incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with security procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients and internal team members regarding wire requests and questions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and other banking transactions accurately.
• Balance cash, teller drawers, and other assigned cash responsibilities.
• Assist with safe deposit boxes, ATM support, and other branch operational functions.
• Provide coverage when staffing needs arise.
• Be available to adjust schedules on short notice when employees are absent due to illness or unexpected situations.
• Work additional hours, including temporary full-time schedules, to provide coverage for vacations, training, and other staffing needs.
