Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
• Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills; Spanish or additional language a plus.
• Experience in handling money preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel) required.
• Understanding and working knowledge of core banking system is a plus.
• Flexibility on work schedule as business needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Operate with accuracy and efficiency with core banking systems and processing transactions with a sales associate cash drawer.
• Balance assigned cash daily and maintain strict adherence to security procedures and cash controls.
• Identify customers and verify proper documentation for transactions.
• Comply with department policies, procedures, and security.
• Prepare currency transaction reports and logs per Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
• Contribute to meeting monthly branch goals through performance and action plans.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold sales and service standards.
• Promote and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
