Job summary

United Bank is seeking a Sales Associate in Ripley, WV to handle daily branch operations and provide quality customer service. You will process transactions accurately, promote Bank products, and refer customers to services as part of a team-oriented environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and completion of the Bank's training program, with flexibility in work hours and strong communication skills, including Spanish language ability as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Bank's in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
• Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities a plus (Spanish or other).

Responsibilities

• Operate with accuracy and efficiency with core banking systems and processing transaction with a sales associate cash drawer.
• Balance assigned cash daily and maintains strict adherence to security procedures and sole control of cash drawer and assigned cash limits.
• Adhere to cash differences/controllable losses policy.
• Identify customers, obtain proper documentation of identification, verify endorsements/payees, cash and withdrawals and obtain supervisor approval for authorization at bank-established cash limits.
• Comply with all department and company policies, procedures, and overall security.
• Prepare currency transaction reports and monetary instrument logs in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act regulations, including KYC, OFAC, and Information Security policies.
• Contribute to meeting monthly branch and/or individual scorecard goals on a consistent basis by monitoring self-performance and following action plans.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service throughout the Bank by adhering to sales and service standards.
• Promote and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers.
• Communicate the Bank's products and services to clients.
• As business needs arise, ability to open and/or close the Branch and may require working hours outside normal scheduled hours.
