Job summary

Harris Teeter in Chantilly, Virginia is seeking a part-time bakery associate to bake products to Fresh Foods standards, assist with processing, packaging and stocking Fresh Foods items, and maintain clean work areas while delivering friendly customer service at the store in Chantilly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates who only speak English.

Responsibilities

• Bake products according to Fresh Foods standards and assist with processing, packaging, and stocking Fresh Foods products.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation.
• Provide customer service and unload stock; reload salvage as needed.
