Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time bakery associate to prepare and stock Fresh Foods products, bake according to set standards, and assist customers in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience), and the ability to read, write, and understand English. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to apply basic math and measurement for handling money and weights.

Responsibilities

• Bake products according to standards.
• Process, package, and stock Fresh Foods products.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation.
• Provide customer service and assist customers.
• Unload stock and reload salvage as needed.
