Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a friendly bakery team member to provide excellent guest service and handle bakery department tasks.

You will greet guests, prepare baked goods for sale, maintain product quality and freshness, and assist with cake decorating when requested. You will also help with front-end duties to keep checkout lines short and maintain sanitation in all areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a polite, friendly manner and engage with all customers.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing) as needed.
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness on display.
• Perform clerk function of cake decorating when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait time.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
