Job summary

This part-time, as-needed role provides backup coverage for regular crossing guards and requires a high school diploma or GED, a Colorado driver’s license, and CPR/1st Aid certification within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Colorado Driver’s License required or ability to obtain one upon hire.
• CPR/1st Aid certification within three (3) months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of traffic laws and use proper signals to help pedestrians cross safely.
• Communicate with the Community Services Supervisor to report issues in the school zone.
• Adhere to program policies, procedures and safe work practices.
• Represent the Town of Windsor professionally with students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members.
