Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with ASNT Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification for a long-term inspection project in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

This part-time role offers a 2-day-per-week schedule (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) with a 10-11 month project duration. Competitive pay at $50–$60/hour, plus per diem for non-local candidates will be provided.

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification required.
• ASNT Level II UT certification required.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection and NDT procedures.
• Ability to interpret codes, standards, and inspection requirements.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Valid drivers license with ability to meet site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding inspections in accordance with AWS codes and customer specifications.
• Conduct Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspections and accurately interpret results.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with all quality and safety requirements.
• Communicate inspection findings with customers and project personnel.
