Job summary

Millington‑Memphis Airport is seeking motivated individuals for part‑time Aviation Fueler / Line Service Technician positions. No prior fueling experience is required as training will be provided.

You will gain hands‑on experience around a variety of aircraft and operations while learning airport procedures. Responsibilities include fueling, marshalling, towing, ground services, safety procedures, and maintaining a professional ramp and equipment area.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Read, understand, and follow written and verbal safety instructions.
• Work safely around aircraft, vehicles, fuel and active airport operations.
• Be dependable, professional, and a team player.
• Be willing to learn aircraft fueling, marshalling, towing and airport procedures.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically capable of lifting up to ~70 pounds.
• Complete required pre-employment screening and airport training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service to pilots, passengers, flight crews, and airport customers.
• Fuel aircraft with aviation fuel and oil following safety procedures.
• Marshal aircraft arriving and departing the ramp.
• Tow and position aircraft in hangars, ramps and designated areas.
• Secure and chock aircraft.
• Assist with ground services and support equipment.
• Operate fuel trucks, tugs, golf carts and other ground-support equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe ramp, FBO areas and equipment.
• Assist with fuel-quality-control procedures and inspections.
• Communicate with pilots, operations staff, control tower and maintenance.
