Job summary

Kids for the Future in Tennessee is hiring a Service Specialist to perform fueling, towing, payments, and terminal upkeep. The role involves radio communication, record-keeping, and assisting with basic maintenance under the Airport Manager’s supervision.

This part-time position typically does not exceed 28 hours per week, with potential temporary increases. Training is provided for fuel handling and safety procedures in aviation operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Tennessee driver’s license required.
• Experience or training in aviation operations is a plus.
• Ability to follow Federal and State aviation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fuels and tows aircraft using safe methods; training provided.
• Operate POS machines and other office equipment.
• Collect payments and maintain fuel usage records.
• Keep terminal and restrooms clean; assist with airport grounds when needed.
• Communicate clearly with employees and customers; respond to radio calls.
• Assist in training new Airport Operations staff and support roles.
• Follow Airport Emergency Action Plan when required.
• Support inspections of airport facilities and equipment.
