Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the General Automotive program. This part-time, non-benefited, exempt position reports to the Program Director – General Automotive Technology and pays a lump sum based on contact hours taught.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or an AAT/AS/AAS in Automotive Technology with two years of related work experience and ASE Certification or other industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or AAT/AS/AAS in Automotive Technology with two years related work experience.
• ASE Certification or other industry certifications.
• Two years relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab course material.
• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses.
• Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Maintains required documentation and administrative reports.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
