The Automotive Systems Technology Adjunct is a part-time position located on the Tyson Family Center for Technology Campus in Monroe, NC, and at the Central Academy of Technology & Arts ( CATA ) in Monroe, NC.

Under the direction of the Director of Applied Technical Programs, the Automotive Systems Technology Adjunct assumes responsibility for course development, instruction, and course assessment for assigned Automotive Systems Technology courses.

Qualifications

• Teach assigned automotive systems courses.
• Develop course curriculum.
• Maintain updated course materials and resources.
• Provide meaningful and timely student feedback.
• Submit all required course documentation.
• Remain accessible to students and colleagues.
• Maintain current licensure, certification, or other professional credentials required for the position.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, innovation, collaboration, and institutional commitment in all actions.
• Actively participate in continuous program improvement through the assessment of learning outcomes at the course and program level.
• Participate in developing recommendations for program budgets, including forecasting anticipated budgetary needs for staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities, as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, Associate Vice President, or Vice President.
