Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Part-Time Cashier at Napleton's River Oaks Hyundai to support customer transactions and payments.

This role offers a flexible schedule (roughly 20–25 hours per week) with a potential pay range of $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience, and paid training.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, cashier experience (automotive dealership a plus), and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
