Job summary

Bloomwell Autism Therapy seeks a dedicated part-time Autism Assessment Psychologist to support North Carolina communities. You will conduct autism assessments for children on long waitlists, using standardized tools and interviews, and provide diagnostic impressions, recommendations, and family guidance.

The role requires NC licensure, a doctoral degree in psychology (or pediatric psychiatry), and a commitment to serving underserved communities with at least 2–4 days of assessments per month.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC licensure to practice psychology.
• Experience conducting autism assessments with standardized tools.
• Provide clear diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
• Willingness to conduct assessments 2-4 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive autism assessments for children.
• Utilize standardized tools and clinical interviews to evaluate development, cognition, and behavior.
• Produce concise assessment reports with impressions and recommendations.
• Offer guidance to families throughout the assessment process.
• Stay current with best practices in autism assessment and intervention.
• Support North Carolina communities through assessments 2-4 days per month.
