Job summary

Already Autism Health in North Carolina and Virginia is seeking a Licensed Psychologist/LP Associate for a full-time role. You will conduct diagnostic evaluations for children suspected of autism spectrum disorder and provide supervision and support for our RB-BHT program, serving as the LQASP under NC Medicaid policy.

The position requires travel to Raleigh, Fayetteville, Charlotte or Asheville, occasional local travel, and a strong commitment to HIPAA compliance and collaborative care with

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in clinical psychology required.
  • Current NC licensure required.
  • Experience diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders including ASD.
  • Experience completing evaluations for children with ASD, IDD.
  • Training with ADOS-2, ADI-R, DISCO, CARS or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and clinical writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments, analyze data, and write evaluation reports.
  • Diagnose and provide treatment recommendations.
  • Provide post evaluation feedback to clients.
  • Coordinate with clinical and intake/admission personnel to ensure timely and appropriate client access to care.

  • Participate in administrative and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to agency’s standards for quality, timeliness, and productivity.

Licensed Psychologist/LP Associate Full Time (North Carolina and Virginia)

The Licensed Psychologist (LP)/Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) conducts diagnostic evaluations for children who may have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position also provides supervision, consultation, & support for our NC Research-Based Behavioral Health Treatment (RB-BHT) program, serving as the Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) in accordance with NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policy 8F.

(THIS IS A NC STATEWIDE POSITION. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO LOCAL OFFICES IN RALEIGH, FAYETTEVILLE, CHARLOTTE AND/OR ASHEVILLE.)

I. Essential Job Functions
  • Conduct assessments, analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reports
  • Diagnose and provide treatment recommendations

II. Job Qualifications And Job Evaluation Documentation

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDG/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Current NC licensure
  • Strong working knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and treatment of neuro-developmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Prior experience in completing evaluations for children with ASD, IDD, and other Neuro-Developmental disorders
  • Training in and competence with tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, DISCO, CARS, or other known evidence-based tools
  • Excellent communication and clinical writing skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
