Bloomwell Autism Therapy in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated part-time Autism Assessment Psychologist to conduct vital autism assessments for children on long waitlists. You will provide comprehensive evaluations using standardized tools and clinical interviews, reporting diagnostic impressions and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with focus on child psychology or related field OR Pediatric Psychiatrist.
• NC licensure required.
• Experience with autism assessments and familiarity with standardized tools (ADOS-2, ADI‑R).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive autism assessments for children.
• Utilize standardized tools and clinical interviews to evaluate development, cognition and behavior.
• Provide concise assessment reports with diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
• Offer guidance and support to families throughout the assessment process.
• Stay current with best practices in autism assessment and intervention.
• Support NC communities through assessments 2–4 days per month.
