Job summary

INSPIRE Event Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Audio Visual Technician at The Meritage Resort in Napa, CA. You will prep, operate, and maintain AV gear for conferences and events, while ensuring client and hotel staff satisfaction.

The role requires experience with AV tech, strong customer service, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. You’ll join a team focused on delivering seamless, high-quality event experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prep, set, and strike audio-visual equipment and keep inventory updated at all times.
• Consistently track inventory and ensure orders are completed in a timely fashion.
• Operate AV equipment with an understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications.
• Determine equipment shortages while preparing equipment orders and offer substitutions.
• Keep open lines of communication with management at all times.
• Follow strict guidelines and a rigid schedule.
• Represent INSPIRE professionally and follow grooming and attire policies.
• Maintain long-standing relationships with clients and hotel staff.
• Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where input is valued.
• Protect company equipment and report any damage to the respective personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

We are seeking a part-time Audio Visual Technician to work at The Meritage Resort in Napa, CA.

This role will pay $24.00 per hour.

What would you do as a Part-Time Audio Visual Technician?

• Prep, set, and strike audio-visual equipment and keep inventory updated at all times

• Continue our long-standing respectful relationship with clients and hotel staff


• Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where input is always appreciated


• Protect company equipment as if it were your own, and report any damage to the respective personnel


• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times


• Any other duties that are assigned

What should your background be as a Part-Time Audio-Visual Technician?

• Experienced with audio-visual technology


• Strong customer service and overall communication skills


• You can lift at least 50 pounds on your own
