Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented clerk to support auction operations in Carmel, Indiana. You will enter bid data, verify vehicle information, and collaborate with the auctioneer to ensure accurate processing and timely updates. Proficiency with AS400 and Salesforce is used daily.

The role requires a high school diploma and typically less than two years of experience, with potential for additional compensation based on performance and incentives.

What You’ll Do

• Enter lane and Simulcast bid amounts, customer data, sold units and sale lights using the AS400 system.

Who You Are

You’re detail-oriented, steady under pressure and comfortable working in environments where both accuracy and timing are key. You also have the following:

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous block clerk experience
• Auction experience
• Automotive industry experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, talk and hear
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

This role may involve occasional exposure to fumes, odors and varying weather conditions.

USD 15.10 - 22.69 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
