The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is essential to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to deliver excellent customer service, ensure shelves are stocked with fresh food, and create a positive shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, manage merchandise including ordering, receiving, and stocking using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for freshness, stock shelves and displays, and prepare perishable items for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside the store and in the parking lot.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds as authorized.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
• Assist customers courteously with product information and store services.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Record inventory and store supplies, noting damaged or lost goods.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand and follow instructions, read labels, tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certification (a plus).
