The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and ensure a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for proper rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot as directed by management.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, refunds, and transactions accurately.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles when requested.
• Record lost or damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
