The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a store section as assigned, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices/bills for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, make change, and handle refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand instructions, product labels, pricing codes, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Ability to carry out detailed instructions.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.
