Join our Store Operations Team as a Part-time Associate (Cashier)!

The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for proper rotation, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
2. Set up advertising/promotional displays. Review invoices/bills for accuracy.
3. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by management.
4. Operate a cash register, process payments, make change, and handle check/charge/debit transactions. Process refunds with approval.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

2. Read and understand instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
3. Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
4. Apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions.
5. Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
