Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking an energetic, sports-minded individual to join our customer service team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and has a solid customer service background or relevant educational experience. Cashiers are responsible for overseeing the front counter POS (register) terminal, handling cash and bagging purchased merchandise, greeting customers, answering telephones, directing sales associates using the PA system, stocking shelves, and maintaining displayed merchandise to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must be 18 years of age or older
2. Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
3. Upon accepting an offer, candidate will be subject to E-Verify
4. Light to moderate lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodation
5. Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
