The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all store and parking lot areas as directed.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, give change, and process transactions. Handle refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact well with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information effectively to individuals and small groups.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
