The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to deliver excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed by management.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, make change, and handle refunds with approval. Verify customer eligibility for alcohol sales.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers, sharing current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost or damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
