The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all areas of the store and parking lot as directed.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, make change, process refunds, and handle transactions responsibly.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Extra Bonus Skills

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (a plus).
