Join our Store Operations Team as a Part-time Associate (Cashier)!

The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, manage merchandise with proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products as needed.
2. Set up advertising/promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
4. Operate cash register, handle payments, make change, and process refunds and transactions.
5. Verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
6. Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
2. Understand instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
3. Present information effectively to individuals and small groups.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
