The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices/bills for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, give change, and process transactions. Handle refunds as approved.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and coworkers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions using common sense.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
