Job summary

The Malvern School of Valley Forge in PA is seeking an Assistant Teacher for a part-time schedule (9:00am-2:00pm). You will support the implementation of the Early Childhood Education program, maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and communicate with parents using in-person and digital tools.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, meaningful experience with young children, and are pursuing a CDA or related degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
• Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field
