Job summary

Child Development Schools in Mustang, Oklahoma seeks an Assistant Teacher to support the Master Teacher by delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities and helping maintain a safe, organized classroom. You will interact with children, document observations, and communicate with families daily.

Requirements include being at least 18, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a background check; a background in Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.

Job description

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Master Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

What your day looks like:

• Support the Master Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements

Pay and benefits

Pay: $11.00-$14.00 per hour, based on experience and education.
