Children’s House Montessori School in West Roxbury, MA, is seeking a dedicated early childhood Montessori educator to join our staff immediately. This part-time position covers approximately 2 to 2.5 days per week and requires experience in a Montessori preschool setting.

Ideal candidates demonstrate patience and grace, can support afterschool art, music, or exercise, and hold EEC teaching qualifications including EEC Essentials 2.0. Training aspiring Montessori teachers are encouraged to apply.

Children’s House Montessori School is a two-classroom preschool located in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. We provide a rich education based on the child-centered philosophy and principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. CHM’s trained Montessori guides seek to promote the development of strong social skills, a positive self-image and self-esteem, physical coordination as well as cognitive curiosity. Our school fosters global awareness by exploring cultural diversity and similarity, and we teach children to be stewards of the earth by acting in an environmentally-responsible manner. Most of all, the children of Children’s House Montessori are given the time to enjoy the process of exploration and learning in a positive, nurturing environment.

We are looking for a dedicated early childhood Montessori educator to join our staff immediately. This is a part-time (2 to 2.5 days per week) position.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate models patience and grace in the classroom, has experience working in a Montessori environment with preschool age children, and can support afterschool art, music or exercise instruction. Educators who are currently in training to become a Montessori teacher are encouraged to apply. EEC teacher qualifications and completion of EEC Essentials 2.0 are required.
