Child Development Schools North Carolina LLC in Elizabethtown, North Carolina is seeking a Part Time Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher, create a nurturing classroom, and engage with young learners through hands-on activities. You will observe children, communicate with families, help with attendance and daily reports, and contribute to a safe, organized learning environment.

A HS diploma is required; prior childcare experience is a plus.

Part Time Assistant Teacher - Elizabethtown, North Carolina

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What your day looks like:

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay and benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
