Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Bennington, VT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, supervise associates, and ensure cleanliness and safety. This part-time role offers opportunities for growth and contributes to a positive, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Assist in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
