Job summary

You will assist with daily activities, support customers, and help move merchandise from delivery to sales floor while maintaining seasonal displays.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, adherence to corporate directives, and ensuring the store meets all standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in retail management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and team-work skills.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Transfer merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect company assets including store cash; enforce policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of store, restrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
