Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and develop team members at our Reading, PA location.

You will assist with ordering, merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention while upholding company policies. The role requires strong communication and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and basic record keeping.
• Assist in loss prevention and maintaining store standards.
