Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Idabel, Oklahoma invites applications for an Assistant Store Manager. You will support store operations, assist customers, and help develop the team while maintaining store standards and safety.

The role is part-time and based on in-store duties with emphasis on customer service, merchandising, and procedures. You will participate in daily tasks such as opening/closing, processing directives, and ensuring a clean, organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing, transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure compliance by associates.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
