Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Hillsdale, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, and contribute to a well-maintained sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred and ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Open and close store procedures as needed.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Foster a positive and respectful environment for customers and staff.
