Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee background is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Punctual and able to work 6:00 a.m. shift and possibly earlier/later shifts.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to read and comply with safety rules and operating procedures.
• Flexible with the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Ability to team-lift up to 150 pounds and lift 30 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positivity and enthusiasm at all times.
• Ensure every bag of coffee meets Tico's quality standards.
• Have knowledge of all roasting materials and equipment.
• Follow safety, quality, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Contribute to Supply Chain goals and vision.
• Profile roasting.
• Quality Assurance cuppings as needed.
