Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Woodview Court in Hilliard and Cherry Blossom in Columbus, OH. This role supports the Property Manager in operating two senior affordable housing communities, ensuring compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 programs while delivering outstanding resident service.

The position is part-time (20 hours per week), with weekday scheduling from 8am to 5pm and no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in property management or related field is a plus.
• Experience in property management, preferably affordable housing.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth site functioning.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist in leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and background checks.
• Help manage rent collections, enforce lease terms, and address delinquencies.
• Maintain records of tenant interactions, financial transactions, and property maintenance; coordinate with maintenance staff on work orders.
