Job summary

Triangle Lake Charter School in Blachly, Oregon is seeking an Assistant Middle School Volleyball Coach to support the athletic program under the head coach and athletic director. Candidates should be willing to obtain Oregon Coaching Certification, complete concussion awareness, and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Have or be willing to obtain Oregon Coaching Certification and verification of approved concussions awareness course on or before the first contract day.
• Current CPR and first aid certification is required.
• Experience in coaching preferred.
• Ability to work under the head coach and help coordinate a program with the building-wide academic and co-curricular programs.

Responsibilities

• The coach will implement a coaching philosophy that promotes the expectations of high school athletics and activities.
• Train athletes and prepare them for interscholastic competition and develop their skills at a competitive level.
• Assist the head coach with inventory, ordering, program budget, and program evaluation.
• Enforce discipline, nurture student needs, and model sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
• Work within the OSAA rules and philosophy for extracurricular activities as stated in the OSAA manual.
