Job summary

Triangle Lake Charter School seeks a qualified HS Boys Basketball Coach to develop and direct its high school program in Blachly, Oregon. The coach will train athletes for interscholastic competition and advance their skills to a competitive level.

The role requires implementing a coaching philosophy aligned with school athletics, coordinating with academic and co-curricular programs, and managing program budgets and inventories. OSAA certifications and CPR/First Aid readiness are essential.

Qualifications

To apply candidate must have or be willing to obtain Oregon Coaching Certification and verification of approved concussions awareness course.
Must be able to work as a team leader, and coordinate program with the building wide academic and co-curricular programs.
Should have experience in coaching basketball and conditioning training.
Ability to obtain CPR and first aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and direct a total high school basketball program.
Train athletes and prepare them for interscholastic competition and develop skills at a competitive level.
Manage inventory, ordering, program budget and program evaluation.
Enforce discipline, nurture student needs, and model sportsmanlike behavior.
Work within OSAA rules and philosophy for extracurricular activities.
